Guidelines for Requesting a BoardOkay, so in the past you would have created a poll and depending on the amount of votes for approval you got, the board would be made. This was to ensure that the board would be active with conversation from the get-go. However, this method is flawed. Anyone could vote for a board's approval without even knowing what the subject was about. The new method is quite simple, and should still accomplish the original goal. Thank you for taking the time to read. Instructions are below:
- Create a thread.
- Title the thread the subject the board will be about.
- In your post, include:
Subject: Background information: Why you chose this subject:
- From there, leave the thread up for discussion. Treat it as you would any thread and just converse about it with other members.
- Once a thread reaches 3 pages (2 full pages minimum), modify the thread title and place an [RR] tag before the title. A moderator will confirm the validity of the conversation (checking for spam or filler posts), and the board will be made!
Again, thank you for taking the time to read the guidelines and for your participation in making Kai-Kanji a better forum. - Snatch!
