Soo...I know that at least Deko likes Emery. Does anyone else like them?
I love all their CDs. They're my favourite band, srsly. <3 (chatspeak is srsbsns) The Weak's End, the Question, I'm Only a Man, ...In Shallow Seas We Sail, While Broken Hearts Prevail. They're all really awesome albums. I can't find a single song that I really dislike. I'm Only a Man was a bit of a letdown for me, but they really picked up again with ...In Shallow Seas We Sail.
Sooo, what do you guys think of their new CD, We Do What We Want? It's very different from their previous albums. It'll take some getting used to (like I'm Only a Man). But I still think it's pretty good. If I may say, however, I don't think it's quite as good as their other albums. Although this opinion may change after I get used to the new sound. [/sup]

Emery reminds me of Alexisonfire in a big way. Except Emery seems to have a more punk tone, while Alexisonfire rocks the more heavy rock aspect. www.youtube.com/watch?v=A8qYbtRVNno^^ One of there better songs. Edit: Not gonna lie, Emery's screamer bothers me.

I'll check that song out in a bit. I've been meaning to look up some Alexisonfire songs.
Emery's screamer, as in on their new CD or their older songs? I love their screamer, fff. It sounds awesome. If you mean their new CD then I shall agree. x: [/sup]

I don't mind Morrell's screaming, I just think it's a bit misplaced in The Cheval Glass. His vocal work in stuff like Walls is among my favorites. As far as the album goes, I've only heard a few of the new songs but so far I'm liking it I only wish they chose a better name for the album :/ And I am sad to see the departure of David Shelton :c

And I am sad to see the departure of David Shelton :c DDD: I may not know the names of band members, but I do know that his name was not David Shelton. >3>; It's Devin Shelton. TT_TT And I am sad to see him go as well.
And I do agree that they could have chosen a better name for the CD.
And yessss. Walls is awesome. I'll have to relisten to the Cheval Glass, though.
That Alexisonfire song kinda reminds me of Churches and Serial Killers. I have no idea why, though. ._.; [/sup]

Out of curiosity, Deko, do you happen to have a favourite CD or favourite song by them? [/sup]

As far as songs go: Listening to Freddie Mercury, In a Win Win Situation, Thoughtlife(all 3 versions), Walls, Curbside Goodbye, Dear Death Pt 1 & 2.

YAY.
AMV one and AMV number two.
...LOL That character tag you have, Deko, totally reminds me of Raikou. A Nabari character.
/is being obnoxious now, pff
And yeah, after re-listening to the Cheval Glass, I do think that the screaming's a bit misplaced/redundant. But it's still a good song. [/sup]
