Yeah, every board has to have these I guess.. What was the comic you read? Mine were: Angel: After the Fall, Before Watchmen #1.

Been working my way through Planetes and loving it. I can't believe it took me like ten years to get back to this series.
Also, my copy of Key of Z came in the mail today. Heard many a good thing about this book. And damn was it good. I'll be writing a review for this one when I can find the spare time.

The last comic? Does the Amory Wars count? (The Coheed and Cambria comic)

Of course it counts! I was trying to find a copy of that Ultimate Edition, I thought it was like $30 on their website but it's not there anymo'! Only copies I can find now on amazon and ebay are like $150.

I might have to do the same if I can't find a copy. But that's one of those books I want to own in print and put on my shelf. You should check Key of Z, Claudio and Chondra wrote it. It's good. And it's not all that zombie-centric if you're not into that kind of thing.

I bought this book called Korgi a while back for my best friend, that's been sitting on my shelf collecting dust 'cause I never mailed it. Finally flipped through it today. There are hardly any words, besides the intro stuff. The artwork is great though. It takes place in a mystical land and is about a young girl and her Corgi cub. I'm super into it, 'cause I love Corgis (mostly because of Ein from Cowboy Bebop ).

King City by Brandon Graham. The art in this book is great, there's alot of detail in it (graffiti and such he incorporates into the cityscape) and you'll likely see discover new things each time you read it, I wanna buy some of his color works but I don't have any comix money right now D: I love the characters in it too. Good read, definitely worth the coin.
I'm also working my way through Tekkonkinkreet Black & White which is easilly becoming one of my favorite works of art of all time. I had seen the movie before, which was also phenomenal, and I'm glad I can relive the story in book form. Taiyo Matsumoto's art has such great style. It's something I'll be dissecting thoroughly to incorporate into my own artstuff.
