I liked it. It didn't need a whole lot of set up so I wasn't bored like I usually am in the first episodes of a series. In the beginning, Saya is introduced as a bit of a klutz, so I thought it was going to be one of those anime where she attains her fight experience as the series continues. It was a surprise to see she's already a badass with the sword. That hair though.. that hair is ridiculous, you'd think it get in the way.

Who else got shivers when her eyes changed over? I have a thing for awesome looking eyes.
I agree with Deko, it was layed out really well and already tricked me on what I thought would happen next. My first thoughts were: "So shes doomed to defend a temple as an unprepared cluts, but with the help of these badass characters at her school she can manage to keep the badies away?". Then boom, kicks 4 tons of ass. Definitely caught my eye. THIS EPISODE HAS RECEIVED THE PRESTIGIOUS EDEN BADGE OF APPROVAL.

I got shivers as well! I love her eyes. <3
Her hair is indeed awesome.
I thought Saya was really adorable in the beginning! I must also say that I loved the fight choreography in this episode! I for one thought it was really nerve-wracking. x: Especially when she couldn't get her hands on the sword. [/sup]

Oh yeah, I forgot about the eyes. You think it has something to do with her opposing personalities? She's uncoordinated and clumsy one minute, and the next she's slaying mantis rock monsters.

Mm, it might have something to do with split personalities. It seems like she's pretty shaken up afterwards, too, so I wouldn't be surprised. Maybe something to help her cope? [/sup]

How was the second episode? Better, worse, or the same as the first one? Any new discoveries or theories? o: [/sup]

I'd say...better than the first one! Two fights, and we got to see a bit more interaction with her classmates than in the first one. The twins didn't get on my nerves like I thought they would...probably 'cause they weren't talking in unison this time. And I don't know what's up with Tokizane, but he always (or in the two episodes so far) seems to show up for class just after Saya.

D8 Why would the twins get on your nerves?! They're adorable! ;w; Saya is really cute, too~.
BEING HUNGRY MAKES YOU SAD.
Maybe Tokizane is just one of dem troublemakers. Never coming to class on time. 8U [/sup]

Yeah, or maybe he's a creeper and he's been following Saya to class.

Ooh, he could be a creeper.
Troublemaker or creeper?! Taking betsssss!
I really liked the fight choreography in this episode as well! Saya's eyes were amazing as usual. [/sup]

The fight scenes are pretty tense, and well choreographed like you said. Any theories yet on that bright light she keeps seeing?
